Way back in 1974 Complete Kitchens started retailing a flat-packed "kitchen in a box” concept, which consisted of a base or wall unit complete with a choice of stylish doors and handles as required. This idea was used for the next two years, sold to customers for home delivery only. Due to demand, eventually a small home installation service was added and the company set up its first Congleton based showroom.
The next step was to offer bedrooms, resulting in a change to the company name, 'Complete Kitchens and Bedrooms of Congleton'. From mid 1989 Roy Povey, son of owner Derek Povey, started working with the company as a full-time designer and fitter. Today Roy owns the family business, running it with a small team of trusted tradespeople all devoted to offering the best quality products and services.
